More About MeI am a 74 year old widow of just over a year. I have 4 children...2 girls and 2 boys. All are grown and have famillies of their own. Two are even grandparents in their own rights.rnrnRight now I have a daughter and granddaughter living with me The daughter is seeking employment in order to move into an apartment of her own. The granddaughter wants to continue living with me in order to go to community college this fall and continue with her education. She has some health issues that she has been battling for some time and is now seeking disability until she can get back on the road to wellness.rnrnI enjoy a variety of things . I like to play golf but haven't done so for a few years. I will have to hit the driving range and putting green before trying again. I like to dance but for the past 43 years was married to a man who didn't dance so I danced with myself around the house while cooking, cleaning etc. and must say I had a great partner. I never once got my toes stepped on and I always knew the steps. lolrnrnSince the loss of my husband I have put on weight and am trying now to take it off. It unfortunately, is not coming off as easily as it went on. I have high hopes though. As long as I continue exercising and cutting back on the carbs I should see more progress soon.rnrnI own my home and would be very reluctant to move. I know I don't want to move from Oregon because of the close proximity to three of my children and the friends I have had for so many years who helped me through a difficult period.
