More About MeI was pretty active until 2008 when I got autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA). In 2009 the medicine I was given for AIHA gave me neuropathy, which I still have. Because of the help I was given by physical therapists and friends, I am quite a bit better than I was in the beginning. I just use a cane when going to strange places and have a little trouble getting up and down stairs. Unfortunately, it seems some of the medicine I was given for neuropathy has made me gain considerable weight. Although I am still on the medicine, I hope that as I can walk more I will be able to lose some weight.
