- More About MeI love making people laugh and appreciate others with a great sense of humor. I really enjoy just talking to different people and finding out more about them. I can find something to talk abut with just about anyone. I'm a bit of an extrovert in that regard. I prefer outgoing people.nnI've worked hard at my career (been with the same company for 29 years in Information Technology), so I guess you could say I'm a driven person. I like people who take pride in doing a job to the best of their ability. That being said, I will hopefully be able to retire one day :) nnI like cats and have two of them. When a cat jumps on you, you're special (or maybe they're just hungry). I also foster cats (until they're ready for their permanent home) for a local animal rescue organization. I usually swap out a batch every month or so for a new batch. It's fun and I feel like I make a difference in these animal's lives.nnI'm not into upscale dining, preferring venues like Fatz, Olive Garden and Farm Boys (killer barbecued chicken and ribs in Chapin - I'm talking last meal stuff people; for me anyway). I try the "unusual" stuff when I go on cruises.nnI'm a morning person, although I still need a coffee kick - especially like walking the dam on Sunday mornings.nnAs my interests (above) show, I enjoy physical contact with a woman (holding hands, kissing, arm around the shoulder/waist, hugs, etc.)nnCruises are my favorite vacation - sometimes, I don't even get off the ship. Just being out on the ocean is soooo relaxing. I do have to be careful about the whole all-you-can-eat ice cream and buffet thingy. You can gain a quick 10 pounds in just a week, but it doesn't take me long to parachute back down to my normal 195 lbs. Of course, walking the dam helps. nnI'm very proud of my 21 year old daughter who is off at college (majoring in Russian of all things). She's always had a knack for languages (it was French all through high school). I think she wants to be a translator. I'm just hoping it'll translate into dollars or rubles or whatever ;)nnMusic preferences would be light jazz, new age, etc. 70s/80s/90s, top 40 is also good. I love Pandora Internet radio. I still like disco music ;)nnWhen I watch TV, I really enjoy science type shows like "Through The Wormhole" and "How It's Made". I must confess to a guilty pleasure I get when watching shows on the Investigation Discovery channel (Snapped, Sins & Secrets, 48 Hours - Hard Evidence, etc.). You know, who kill who and why, or at least how :) - What drives some people, sheesh...
