More About MeWho am I? Well, it depends on whom you ask... I think my friends would describe me as fiercely loyal, the one who they can call when they need a hand or a shoulder to lean on, a little bit ditzy, and passionate for what I believe in and who I love. Those who are not my friends... well, most of them have never really taken the time to get to know me! But they might say that I don't think before I act, that I let people down when I don't follow through or open my mouth when I shouldn't, and I should just mind my own business about things. When it comes right down to it, I'm human. I'm not perfect nor do I pretend to be. I make mistakes but I think most people know that my heart is in the right place and I don't mean to deliberately hurt anybody. I treasure the friendships I've made over the years and enjoy making new friends as well. (Strangers are just friends who I haven't met yet!) I am passionate about life and people and several issues. I think that I'm pretty forgiving and understanding of other people and their own flaws... unless they hurt others. Even then, if they take responsibility and sincerely try to make up for their mistakes, I forgive them for that as well. I just haven't any tolerance for ignorant people who just don't care who they hurt as long as their own needs are met.

Political AffiliationSigh... this is where people run... yes, I'm one of the few liberals in my area. I have great friends who are conservative but they are the ones can carry respectful and intelligent conversations. They don't attack and are willing to do the research to back up their positions (as I do for mine).
Who I Would Like to MeetFirst of all, PLEASE BE LOCAL! I have hundreds of online friends... I would like to have someone to actually DO things with!! NOT AN INTERNET PEN PAL! For me, an ideal partner would be someone who doesn't need me to complete them but to enhance them. Like a good cake that doesn't NEED frosting but would taste better with it anyway. I'm done baking, don't need any ingredients for that, but would love to find my own "frosting". I want someone who is interested in the big picture of life, sees beyond the city limits, enjoys learning (from books, other people, going places, etc.), enjoys respectful and stimulating conversations, and can successfully manage his own baggage. (We all have baggage and I have enough on my hands carrying my own. I am not asking anyone to carry it for me and I'm done carrying it for others.)
