- More About MeI am praying to find a man that takes living as a catholic husband and father/father figure very seriously BUT is not off the deep end and able to be understanding of those not as spiritual or educated in the truth, that may be placed in his path. I believe that people that God may place in our lives are at the point in their journey they are meant to be, and it is not for us to judge them, but instead to lead by example. My opinion, formed from my experiences, is that it is going to take a really special type of guy to be able to combine a genuine catholic heart with the abiliy to realize that not everything in our culture is bad and be able to enjoy what is not immoral. How else could you lead by example, if you do not even bother to know your neighbor? Sometimes people have good hearts, but are really not aware that something they do may be considered immoral. In my search, I have been exposed to many different types of men, a good amount of them can be placed in one of two catagories: BLATANTLY IMMORAL AND PROUD OF IT ( A COMPLETE TURN-OFF by the way).....or those men that are truly pious but tend to look down at a woman if she doesn't meet his cookie-cutter expectations of "the catholic woman". The type of man that I find the most attractive, is a REAL guy, who maybe has been banged up a bit in his journey and LEARNED from it and is HONEST about it...not one that puts on airs to look better on the surface, and as time goes on, his true colors come out. Another point that I MUST mention, is that I am ONLY INTERESTED IN A MAN SIMILAR IN AGE....NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! I am hoping to have more children, if God chooses this for me, so IF YOU ARE MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLDER THAN ME, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT ATTRACTED TO AN OLDER MAN, PERIOD....I AM ALSO NOT INTERESTED IN A MAN/CHILD MORE THAN 5 YEARS YOUNGER, PERIOD!!! This seems to be a very big issue when I mention that to those who contact me.... These men get INSULTED??? Seriously guys, there are more important things to be upset about! I am not interested in dating a father figure or to date a guy my daughters age!!!! All I can say is WOW, I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT I HAVE TO PUT THIS IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS SUCH AN ISSUE... For the record guys, if a woman doesn't respond to you, 99% of the time it is because she is not interested in hurting your feelings by having to tell you she is not interested.... TAKE THE HINT..... AND IF YOU INSIST... YOU WILL GET THE TRUTH THAT SHE IS NOT INTERESTED, AND MAKE IT WORSE BECAUSE OF YOUR INSISTENCE FOR HER TO TALK TO YOU???? IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE REJECTED, DON'T INSIST ON BEING REJECTED! Doesn't that make more sense????? I guess that is why they say men are from Mars and women are from Venus lol.... I am not being harsh by the way, I am telling it like it is... And those of you who are guilty of this behavior know who I am talking about.... I am interested in a man about 33 to 44 years old. Of course there has to be a MUTUAL attraction as well, that is a given I think. So, am I asking for too much when I say that I am looking for a PARTNER, someone I can connect with and am attracted to. Someone I can raise a family with, someone I don't feel uncomfortable being myself with.
