More About MeI am the most awesome mom to three little boys. I work full time in mental health, although I am not a therapist. I was working on my masters to become a therapist, but decided to take a break so that I wouldn't miss all the wonderul little things of being a mom. This decision was brought on after I watched my grandma die, very unexpectedly. So, although I lost my grandma, I gained the insight that my kids needed me to slow down. rnrnOk, maybe I am exaggerating a bit when I said I am the most awesome mom, but I am pretty darned good. Although one of the therapists I work with called me supermom. I work full time and I even find time to go to everything for my boys. And they are involved in a lot! Basketball, baseball, football, soon to be tennis and golf. And yes, I am that mom in the stands that yells the loudest. I am very proud of my children.rnrnYes, there is more to me than just my boys. I am a happy go lucky person who strives to find the best in everyone and every situation. I went through a lot in my life, and I am now using those experiences to become a better person. Those experiences also allow me to empathize with the families I work with, which makes me so much better at my job. Which might be why I recently got a promotion. So yes, I dress up nice, get my nails and hair done and look professional for work. But that is only part of me. I also like to go camping, fishing and even 4 wheeling. I get dirt under my nails and I don't freak out about it. I may not always like it, though. When I go camping, I am fine with the no make up and hair in a pony tail that goes with it. In fact, I can put up my own tent and take it down and put it back in the bag. Which means that I also sleep on the ground in my sleeping bag, which I can also roll up and put back in the bag. I recently learned that not everyone can do that :)rnrnI'm not perfect, and I'm fine with that. I don't want someone who is perfect. I want the real thing. The one who has faults and has made mistakes, someone who accepts others for their faults and mistakes. Talk to you soon :)
