Charles Ken , 51,
Male seeking Female,
Hobbies / Interests / ActivitiesI like to read and write. I like to do photography and walk (but I'm lonely, and I would really like it if I could find a companion, someone to walk with me and keep me company). I like to watch TV, go to movies, shows (like Broadway, variety-like our talent show that we do at my college each Spring called Makin' Music, karaoke, talent), concerts. I like to go to museums and cultural events. I like to travel when I get a chance, but when I can't, I like to go to the local tourist attractions we have in our city). I like to dine out or cook dinner with you at home. It's free (except for the ingredients we'll have to buy to cook with), and it'll give us more time and freedom to take the time to just get acquainted and get to know each other better. I just need for you to know one thing: I'm Diabetic, so we'll need to cook dishes that are nutritional to my diet and Diabetic needs. I love to shop: I know you'll like that one, I'm a rare breed - I'm patient, it'll give me more time to spend with you, and I can help you carry your bags and packages; we can go from store-to-store, getting, looking for whatever it is we need, or we can split up, I would go to one store and get something I need, while you go to another store and get something you need. Then we can rendezvous back together at a later designated time and place that we had agreed on. Perhaps then we could get a bite to eat or something, relax, take a load off our feet, and socialize together. And finally, I want to include, here, a date idea. When I was in high school, I was in the band. And my favorite time of year was Fall, because that was when the football season took place. During the games we'd sit in the stands and play our pep (rally-type) music to accompany the cheerleaders. Then at half-time, we would go out onto the football field and perform our half-time show. There were a couple of times during that time of the year when we would go to band contests and compete against other bands. Now it was stressful and scary while we were out on the field marching, who wouldn't be when you've got judges judging and critiquing your every move? But I really enjoyed the experience of being there: even during when we were performing, marching out on the field. If you've never been to a band contest before, it might be an experience you would enjoy. I still like to go from time to time when I get a chance: next time I'd like to invite you to come along with me. Keep in mind, though, that this is an all-day event, so don't forget to wear some comfortable, casual clothes (I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt, maybe bring along a long sleeve shirt or jacket depending on how the weather is going to be) and a comfortable pair of walking or athletic shoes. Then we'll go out to eat afterwards. Don't worry, though, we won't be going to any formal (dresses, ties, and suits) restaurant, but instead to a restaurant that has a casual dress code, and jeans and t-shirts are okay there, but they would still serve a chef-ranked dinner fit for formally-dressed people. So you won't have to worry about bringing a change of clothes. Well, I hope to see you soon. Ken.

Others NoticeHonest and dependable (as managers say about my work), emotionally sensitive, kind, loving, caring, I believe in the concept of having my own personal cheerleader to encourage, motivate, give me those cheerful "yeah! way to go! keep it up!" etc, and reassure me when I experience the discouraging, despondent (sad), or depressing times when I am beyond words and need a shoulder to cry on - and you need a personal cheerleader too, and our children will need one, too, when they begin to participate in afterschool activities, and I am grounded in the Christian faith, in fact, when you and I do finally get together, I would like to invite you to go to church with me at each opportunity. Would you like to go with me?
