More About MeI work with kids a lot... possibly because I'm still just a big kid in a lot of ways. Probably always will be to at least some extent. I work at a group home for teenage boys with behavioral and developmental disorders. It can be stressful at times, but the good days always feel like days off. :) I've also been volunteering as a Big Brother for the last 5 years. I have a female Puggle named Mya and a male Red-Eared Slider turtle named Michelangelo.

Who I Would Like to MeetI like a girl who is interested in doing new things, but is also content to veg out playing games or watching movies/TV together. I look for a good mix of affection and independence, since I'm the same way - I love togetherness, but sometimes I just like to be alone. I haven't always been much of a fan of PDAs for some reason... holding hands while walking everywhere tends to feel awkward to me, unless it's just a casual stroll I guess. I vastly prefer a girl who's somewhat aloof to one who pursues me, for some odd reason. It's easier for me to respect a girl who exercises her intellect, and I don't want to be with someone I can't respect. I prefer a girl who's in good shape even though I'm not in great shape myself. It's hypocritical, I know, but a guy likes what a guy likes. :/ But I don't have a very narrow view of what "in good shape" means. I also prefer a girl with some attitude & spunk... sass & fire... y'know? Someone who likes to shake things up. Or at least that's who I tend to be drawn to.
