- More About MeI been divorced for 5+ yrs ,was married to an alcoholic for 12,just couldn't take the abuse any more .I have a 16 yr old son who lives with me ( he couldn't take the abuse any longer either !) I grew up in a healthy loving home in the country outside of Pulaski, I have 1 brother in Tenn. Day trips and an occasional weekend getaway are a fun thing to do with the right person by your side ! I like to go to flea markets ,local small festivals, music outdoors- went to an antique show last year and wandered around-it was fun !Love to "people watch" anywhere! Dinner and a movie is always fun with the right person sharing the moment .I do not like winter and hope to at least have the option in a few years to consider moving closer to my brother and away from these harsh winters .I believe that a healthy relationship requires honesty and open communication to flourish, without those 2 key ingredients trouble will follow. I am a monogamous person who has been cheated on, I don't believe that it is fair to the development of the relationship to not focus on each other exclusively-all relationships take work constantly to stay fresh ,healthy and strong , I am a romantic at heart and like the cuddling ,kissing ,holding hands ,and PDA’s that two people should feel towards each other if there is chemistry that’s working ( there has to be chemistry !!) .I had gastric bypass surgery in June of 09 and have lost 195+lbs, have enjoyed the benefits of better health as a result.
