Others NoticeAfter they get around the fact that I am a big guy, I hope they soon realize that they are fixing to go out with a really good guy. There aren't too many of us left, and I find that most people are looking for someone where they can stop the world and talk with. But, I like going out to eat to break the ice in the beginning. Maybe take in a movie on my DVD player (or VHS, I have a lot of tapes), and talk about the way the day went.
Skills/TalentsI was a bookkeeper for an auto repair and machine shop and kept the books for about 5 years. I enjoyed keeping on top of the bills, keeping a satisfactory amount of cash on hand, and explaining why I did or did not pay a bill. I also spent about 7 years as an insurance adjuster, casualty and property claims. And, I went to trade school to get my Associates in Drafting and Design and worked 6 years as a Draftsman for a firm in Houston, and here in Amarillo.
Favorite FoodA large boneless rib-eye cooked medium rare, a loaded baked potato with the butter dripping, with fried okra and a large salad ahead of time, with plenty of ranch dressing. Lordy, I'm in heaven. (Second favorite: BBQ at Cattle Call)
Favorite PlacesMy favorite places to go locally will include Texas Roadhouse, Logans Roadhouse, Cattle Call, Golden Corral, CiCi's Pizza, and Furr's Cafeteria. I have been to the Caribbean and would love to return, someday. I love the water and the way the sea breeze makes you feel wonderful all day long. And the sunsets, WOW.
