- More About MeAdopted at the age of 5 days old from Japan, I lived in the foster care system since the age of 13. I know absolutely nothing about the Japanese culture other than Sushi...and yet, I guest speak at colleges and universities on Cultural Diversity, Child Abuse Survivorship, Youth Leadership and Mentoring. Which is why I am most passionate about people. especially those in need...I am a sucker for children (at risk teens, orphans and Foster youth) as I mentor them in my spare time. Because one of my businesses deals a lot with non-profit organizations I work closely with the community on charitable causes. I am a (well traveled) retired Navy Veteran, owns a couple of businesses, works in the professional world while also authoring a book. Aside from work, I workout daily and really like to take care of my health and appearance (I absolutely do not look or act my age at all. However, when when it comes to relationships and romance I like keeping and exercising the 'old fashioned' practices and traditions. I am financially, emotionally, and spiritually blessed and extremely secure! I'm honest & generous with the right people (not solely materialistically).
