More About MeOne thing in this life...Everything Is Relative!! I guess the hardest part about dating is finding someone you feel a mutual attraction for...the chemistry that makes two people one and of course honesty. I am very selective with this type of dating and prefer to chat for a while so if you are in a rush I am not your girl. An honest woman has to look out for herself and still be aware of the dishonest. So I will just hope and pray that I can find an honest man who is still a little gallant and has an easy going way about him and any honest, sincere man will understand what I am trying to say. I am an artist mostly in stained glass but worked in many other mediums and my passion is wildlife so many of my subjects are just that. I have a BA and most recently a BS and working towards wildlife rehabilitation.
Hobbies / Interests / ActivitiesI love boating and I have a canoe and kayak. I like to go boating and catch some one the wildlife on camera. I received my BA in art before my science degree and like to combine the two. I create stained glass pieces mostly designing the composition myself which can be tricky. I have almost everything I want right now except my best friend and lover.
Political AffiliationI try to stay in the middle as an independent because I believe there is give and take and many compromises in life. Lately I find that the Republican station that has Rush Limbaugh, The Savage Nation etc. to be as radical as Charlie Sheen! LOL at that if you can!!
Who I Would Like to MeetI seek honesty and mutual chemistry mostly. I am trying to be positive but to be honest I have to say I have found a lot of dishonesty in dating and a girl has to be choosy. It would be nice to find a man who likes to explore and travel and of course to do things and experience life more with me than his buddies. I have become quite independent and enjoy doing things on my own too but it is nice when we can do things apart and all the time think of being together again. In fact I am looking for a best friend as well as mate. I have always dated men a few years younger than me and wish to find someone in his 40s. A best scenario but not a must would be someone who has never married and has no children. When I find someone I am in love with I want us to be the most important thing in each others lives and it would be hard to do that when I have no ties to another life and he does. I have always had long relationships but chose not to marry unless I found my best friend and lover and (the important part) it is vice versa. Somehow it always works one way but not the other...if you know what I mean? By the way, my life's dream is to own a horse for the purpose of just loving such a beautiful creature, to ride and explore the world with and to build a strong bond with, so if you are a horse person you have chalked up extra points in my book. I have animals and they are very important to me so you have to be an animal person...that is a must have!!
Favorite MusicI love all music except RAP. I can tolerate it if it really has something to say or if the Black Eyed Peas are singing. I love them. I use to go see bands 3-4 nights a week but there is nothing where I live now. Stevie Ray Vaughn, Linkin Park, Dan Fogelberg, Andrea Bocelli. Cultural music like when I was in Greece I loved listening to the Bouzouki. I love balads and this Jordin Sparks "No Air" duet with Chris Brown.

Favorite FoodMy favorite foods are ones I only eat once in a while or I'd be a house....lasagna, pizza and turkey, pork stuffing and cold cranberry sandwiches usually after Thanksgiving. I love to cook and so I make my own spaghetti sauce and I love tilapia and a salad with romaine lettuce, cucs, tomatoes, grapes, green peppers a hard boiled egg and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds. I love cake but eat it sparingly as a treat once in a while. I try to eat real healthy. As long as I live on this planet I want to be as healthy as I can be. There is also Blue Bunny low fat sugar free ice cream and of course what almost anyone loves..............chocolate!! I like it deep and dark!!!
Favorite PlacesI love to travel and have been to Greece which I just loved. I love anything ancient, where people have lived and died fighting battles etc like at the Parthenon. I went to Turkey and it was quite scary at times. I went to Costa Rica on a biology trip as part of my education and I just loved it there too. I saw and actually helped a leather back sea turtle lay her eggs on the beach at night. There the moon went down at 9pm; it was pitch dark and fantastic. I love Islands of Adventure and will always remain a kid when it comes to things like that and of course Disney World!!! Any place with animals zoos etc and parks of all kinds. I'd love to ride some national or state parks on horse back.

Where I live now there is not much night life but if I were closer to a metropolitan area I would go see a band or a play or hang out at a club on the waterfront somewhere. I have to live near the water preferably the ocean. I did the DJ night club thing for many years and only do that once in a while now.
