More About MeI am a conservative Christian looking for a woman with character and personality. My beliefs are closely aligned with independent Baptists; that is, I believe the Bible to be true and accurate in all areas (feel free to ask details). I am financially responsible (I only use free matchmaking services), I own my home (well, the bank actually owns most of it), I love pets (have three cats inside and one outside), and I am active in the ministries of my church (Victory Baptist Church, Bristol VA). I enjoy doing things with friends. I am not a typical guy in that I like “chick flicks” – I own “While You Were Sleeping,” “Sense and Sensibility” and others (as well as the guy-friendly and classic “Princess Bride”). While I like action movies, there has to be a legitimate plot, not just action for action sake. I'm also a little hyper - I like Mt. Dew, particularly Code Red... Education: My grade-school-equivalent education was primarily at home in the Advanced Training Institute, and with the Air Land Emergency Resource Team where I was in Unit 1. I have since completed two technical degrees, an Associate of Applied Technology degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree, all in Computer Information Systems (with a minor in Management). Work: I have held variety of computer support roles in a wide variety of businesses, from computer sales and support to contract work for multinational corporations. Basically I take care of people’s computer problems and try to make their work easier and smoother, even if that means writing a small program or changing something in the computer room. Personal life: I am an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Bristol, Virginia. I am in the choir and an ensemble, participate in the children’s ministries where permitted (a single guy gets restricted) and drive a van for mobility-limited individuals and some kids who are too far from the bus routes. First meeting: A first meeting will probably be at church for multiple reasons (safe group setting), unless you are busy in yours. If you won't come to church, there's no sense contacting me.
Hobbies / Interests / ActivitiesI enjoy spending time with friends; what we are actually doing is secondary: watching movies, eating, playing games, or just hanging around. My parents live about 8 miles from me in Bristol, TN, and I try to spend time with them each week, usually involving going out to eat. I like electronics, sci-fi, Transformers (toys and fiction), and almost any decent fiction. I like things that are different, creative, or interesting.

Who I Would Like to MeetWhat I am looking for in a lady is simple: she must not be married (divorced is married, widowed is not), shouldn't be older than me (at least not ACT older...), and must be able to tolerate me. The rest is flexible - physical attributes are of much lower importance than others, so long as they don't detract. Oh, and I love beautiful eyes. If you're married or divorced (which is essentially married, according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 7) forget about anything romantic. But I do have a lot of married friends of both genders, generally including both sides of the marriage.
