Skills/TalentsI am learning to knit[I will be a Grandmother in Oct.] I used to play guitar and have "picked" it up again. Most of my real skills lie in the medical field where you had to be proficient in many areas especially dealing with all kinds of "folks".
Favorite FoodAnything Greek-from lamb to gyros to backlava to expresso coffee. I like most ethnic food, but you can't beat good AL BBQ.
Favorite PlacesI am a beach and mountain fan. Al beaches can't be beat. As for mountains you can't beat the Smoky Mountains or along the Blue Ridge Parkway from Ashville NC on up. I Iike to travel the world by eating out at ethnic restaurants-especially Middle Eastern, Chinese, and Mexican. I can eat hoummus and imagine that I am in Israel or a margarita and be in Mexico. My favorite restaurants in B'ham are Hot and Hot,Olive Branch[Middle Eastern], and Miss Myra's BBQ.
