I can be quiet and reflective but most of the time I am outgoing and talkative. It took me a while, but I finally received by Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis on Human Resources 2 years ago. It basically means that I now have a piece of paper that proves I understand the type of work I have been doing since I graduated from high school.nnI am pretty handy at fixing things; I have a real toolbox with real tools and I DO know how to use them. I love working with power tools as well. I sew and do counted cross-stitch; I can do ceramics and other crafts as well. I like to cook and bake, but haven’t done much of it recently. It’s so much more rewarding when I can cook for someone or a group of people that will appreciate the food and the effort it takes to create it.nnI have 3 kids, 7 grandchildren, a good job and a crazy family. Other than wanting to have a special man in my life to love and be loved by, I have everything a person could need.nnI received a recommendation from a friend that met her match through this process. They met 8 years ago and have been married for 4. She said I had to give this a try before I completely give up.nnI am looking for a man that is real! No games, no drama. I am ready for a real relationship of sharing and caring and looking out for one another. If he has a family, that's great - I have one! I don't know why we wouldn't be able to fit time into our lives for all of the people that are special to us - It's a MUST! I don't want to date just to date either. I like being at home after work during the week - going out every night is not for me. I would like to go out every now and then either to dinner or a movie, maybe a play at the Civic Center here in Des Moines or some other event. I'm not terribly athletic. I did have both knees replaced just 2 years ago. They allow me to walk as if they had never been in pain; but I'm not going to be running any time soon. I never liked running anyway.
