Hobbies / Interests / ActivitiesWell, you already know I like to cook. I also like to dance. I really like walking. I live in a decent neighborhood and the main street has several miles of these small little shops and restaurants. About a mile of it is called antique row. I just have to be honest; I love being close to the ocean. The salt air, the cool ocean spray, the loud sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs one minute and how eerily it gets a moment later, but at the same time you hear the cry of a gull flying by. The feel of my feet in the sand, then the feel of the cold water splashing over them. This city is my sanctuary.
Political AffiliationI try not to take sides. My friends call me a realist because I try to see things for what they. The way I see it, politics are for those who try to convince you that they're the best person for the job. What I do know is that we might not be able to choose certain situations, but we choose our mood and how we act.
Who I Would Like to MeetThe one I seek has a genuine love for life. Someone who doesn't mind if people see her in her sweats and without her make up, because she doesn't want to miss a beautiful sunrise. Someone that doesn't cause drama. Someone that looks for a solution when they have a problem. Someone who doesn't use people because she's been used. I'm looking for an equal who is wants to have fun and live life. Someone wise enough to know what she wants, that she deserves better and smart enough to know the one who's worth her time and trouble. Favorite TV ShowsI really don't watch TV very often. I do watch the news before I leave for work and I tend to watch shows that try to educate us about the universe. But I really enjoy going out to the movies. The whole theater experience is awesome.
Favorite MoviesI like movies that grab my attention. The ones that make you want to stay to the end. there's nothing worse than expecting a fun night at the movies and waking up when the credits start rolling. I don't have a certain preference. It could be comedy one night and action, drama or romance. As long as I walk away feeling like I was part of the whole experience, I'm happy.
Favorite BooksOther than technical manuals at work (My trade is repairing large machinery) I've been known to pick up a Maxim or a Cosmo to try to be caught up on the latest fashion. People and Time to be caught up on entertainment and current events.
Others NoticeThat I'm very relaxed, happy and I don't judge people. I don't like clutter. My home is clean and organized, much the same way life is. I'm very aware that life has a lot of peaks and valleys and the key to life is having balance. Spending time with someone special that's on the same page as I am is what I'm looking for.
Favorite FoodI really enjoy seafood. Fish, shrimp, lobster, oysters, calamarri. I also like Italian, cajun, sushi. I also like to cook. I'm great at barbeque, making home made soups, chicken dishes. I'm pretty good at combining colors, textures and flavors without overspicing the food's unique tates.
Favorite PlacesI like to dance, but I also like fine dinning. Every once in a while I'll go out to the wineries and do some tasting. Some of these places are so quiet and peaceful. It's even nicer if they bring in a good chef. I am also drawn to the night life, especially here in San Diego. I like to be around happy people that are having fun. The beautiful weather combined with all the great restaurants and clubs makes San Diego like no other place. The food is just wonderful. Sometimes I feel a bit of guilt, but that's just how it is here.
