- More About MeI have been doing a lot of thinking and that may be my first mistake as I have decided to totally rewrite this profile since I think it does anyone who views it a great injustice. Though it was honest I just felt that it indicates an inability to move on which would be dishonest. So with that said here it goes.nnFirst off I feel that I am easygoing, straight forward kind of person. What you read is what you get. I like to think of myself as a simple man just because I am not a fan of extravagance. In that sense I appreciate great art and the creativity in others. I am though for all intensive purposes still learning the ins and out of being a single father. I have two boys who are my heart and soul. I am a bit old fashioned in a sense that I believe in real love and family values. I am progressive minded in the sense that I believe you can never learn too much. I would say I have no drama in my life but that would be a complete lie, I have two boys, there is always drama, lol. I am a person of deep feeling and guilty of being a hopeless romantic. I am also guilty of being long winded, lol. I love to talk and have always been that way but I also have a shy side, a side that is reserved at first. I am the never ending fiddler always try to work on something whether it be a car, a piece of wood, or anything. I am guilty of always trying to build a better mousetrap, lol. I was raised on the Cowboys and NASCAR and will always enjoy both.nnI am guilty of putting too much pressure on myself to be perfect at times yet I require no such thing from anyone. I guess that can considered a fault but I feel like there is always room for improvement. I really want that father of the year trophy, lol. I am guilty of maybe being too nice when I shouldn’t be but that is part of life learning experience, right? I am a goof, and love a great laugh, if cannot poke fun at yourself who can you poke fun at, lol. Do I have insecurities? Show me a man without any and I will show you someone setup for failure. What are my insecurities? Well, I think one is that longing for having someone close to me, someone I can share with, someone with whom I can enjoy all the crazy goings ons that life has to offer. Anything else? Maybe it’s how I was raised but I also feel bad if I cannot provide for my family. I guess my last one would have to be because I do not want to be in my 90s or something and on my last breath and not be able to look into that special someone’s eyes one last time and say “I love you”. If you consider those insecurities then so be it I am condemned.nnWhat do I want? I want real love, I want great friends. I want both and is that so bad? I look for Mrs. Right. I am looking for love not for love again but for the last time. I seek the one that I can carry when they are down and the one that can carry me when I am down and everything that goes in between. I seek the one I trust and that can trust in me. I seek the one that will not look upon me with criticism but the one that will accept me. That brings up a good question, so what’s to criticize? I do not mind constructive criticism, it helps us grow but what do not like are those that feel like they are the reason we have accomplished what we have. I have accomplished all I have not because of anyone else but myself. I owe no one that. I feel we are all success of our own accord and no one else’s so each everyone one of us are a success in our own right. Anyway, moving on I seek someone that I can share with and that will care, someone that can love me and know they will receive it in return. I seek someone that isn’t impatient but patient because that is my greatest need. I seek someone who knows that for love to last it must be worked at. It isn’t give you, It isn’t something you are owed, it is something that is a two way street of give and take, a 50/50 deal. So how do I look so far? Well that is for you to decide not me.
