So as most pastor's kids do...my high school and college years were spent partying and rebelling. After my parents sent me to both OU and Miami U, and after numerous arrests, they cut me off and let be fend for myself on my own.rnrnI was lost, with no future or plans, and all I knew how to do was work, pay bills, and party. Until one night, a guy I have never met, looked at me and told me I had potential. That no matter how many times I had been arrested, or how much money I had waisted. That he believed in me and would help me finish school. Well, he did help me finish, and I graduated with a sales and marketing degree. I went into sales, but to be honest, I was still empty and purposeless.rnrnI started volunteering at after school programs in the inner city. And soon enough, I had quit my job and started working for them. I became area director of a tutoring and mentoring program for inner city kids. We as an organizaton, put a signifant relationship in a Childs life, to help guide them in school and help them have hope for the future. Much like the man who came into my life. So now I get to use my mistakes, to help others. I get to tell of my story of being lost, then finding my way, to encourage these under-privileged kids for the better!
