"Life isn't worth living unless you have made a difference in someone's life."
~Bonnie D. Parkins~
"Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, or fabulous. Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us~It is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others."
"I've never met a person, I don't care what his condition, in whom I could not see possibilities. I don't care how much a man may consider himself a failure, I believe in him, for he can change the thing that is wrong in his life anytime he is prepared and ready to do it. Whenever he develops the desire, he can take away from his life the thing that is defeating it. The capacity for reformation and change lies within." - Preston Bradley-
"You were the one who made things different, you were the one who took me in, you were the one thing I could count on. Above all, you were my friend."
"You can never discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
" Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know Christ, will want to know Christ because they know you."
"You have so many extraordinary gifts-how can you expect to live an ordinary life?"
"We must be the change we wish to see in the world."
"In your journey through life you are to reach out and bless the lives of your fellow travelers-to give of yourself to those who need you."
-Robert J. Whetten-
"Write your name in kindness, love, and mercy on the hearts of thousands you come in contact with year by year and you will never be forgotten-your name and your good deeds will shine as the stars of Heaven."
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."
What is success?
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
